Lindsay Pearson - Schools Work Coordinator

Lindsay does the day to day running of Illuminate's work. She is the first point of contact if you have any questions. Lindsay attends St Augustine's Church in Normanton and wanted to be a teacher when she was a child. She can't decide on a favourite food as she'll eat practically anything and, after asking everybody else for an interesting fact about themselves, she has realised that she's never done anything that interesting. However, she did do ballet for eight years until she had to stop because she had a knee injury. And also because she was rubbish at it. She has varied taste in films and recently enjoyed seeing Moon and The King's Speech at the cinema. She also enjoyed Toy Story 3 and the latest Shrek film but tries to keep that a bit quiet. She has eclectic taste in music and has everything from early opera to Elbow on her iPod. In her spare time she enjoys wandering round art exhibitions and going to the theatre. She had to take her own picture and, as you can see, she's not much of a photographer!

David Whitehorn - Gap Year Worker
David helps with all aspects of Illuminate's work. He doesn't know what he wanted to do when he was a child but suspects 'footballer' may have been in there somewhere. He likes most food (except fish) but sausage and chips is a particular favourite. He likes The Full Monty as he was brought up in Sheffield so recognises the locations. He enjoys playing computer games, sport and listening to music. To contact David please email:
