Lunch Clubs
Illuminate staff and volunteers run lunch clubs in several schools.
We work in St Peter's on Mondays, Wren Park on Tuesdays, Littleover Community School on Wednesdays and Griffe Field on Thursdays.
We usually start a session with games, then we might look at a Bible story, then take part in a craft activity related to the theme for that week.
Last term, we made Joseph and his brothers out of plasticine and used them to tell Joseph's story, check out our pictures:

Joseph is sent off to prison by Potiphar after Mrs Potiphar told lies about him. Poor Joseph!

Leader Gareth made Gandalf - just in case we ever do a Light Club 'Lord of the Rings'. You never know.
This half-term we will be looking at the stories of Joshua, Gideon and Samuel.
